Real Madrid announced today that it will face Galatasaray in the 36th edition of the Santiago Bernabeu Cup friendly on the 18th of this month.
The tournament did not last year and it seems that the club decided to restore it because it did not achieve important titles in the last season and play in front of fans before the start of the season.
This is the second time the tournament Galatasaray participate.
The last time I played in this Cup friendly on August 22 / August 2013 in front of Al Sadd took advantage to honor the former Real player Raul Gonzalez.
Both projections indicate that the club would use it faces Porto in honor of former captain and goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who moved to the "dragons" this summer
